"The Beggars, Stitched Gouache From The Early 19th Century"
Gouache and watercolor on needle-stitched paper representing a woman and her child begging. The bodies of the characters are only represented by the perforation of the sheet, their faces and hands are painted, as well as some accessories: the cane, the knife, the bowl, the elbow pad. Work from the beginning of the 19th century in a wooden frame, with its old window. Dimensions: 28 x 23 cm. Good general condition despite some traces of humidity.
