Pretty post-impressionist canvas from the 1940s representing rue Soufflot and the pantheon. The canvas is in perfect condition and does not need cleaning. no restoration performed. It is presented in a Montparnasse frame in antique carved and patinated wood (some touch-ups to the patina). The Painting is signed lower right H. Theys, an artist whom I have not identified. The touch is lively and the colors cheerful and bright. Very kind. The canvas alone measures 41 cm x 33 cm, standard format. With frame, 58 cm x 50 cm.
