Figure representing a couple of elephants, probably a mother and her child. The charmingly depicted elephants are decorated with a striking hat with painted, colored and gilded arabesques. Glazed, hand-painted and gilded porcelain.

Probably signature of the Volkstedt company from Thuringia. Early 20th century.

Height 17.5 cm, length 27 cm, width 12.5 cm.

Good condition of conservation, minimal loss at the end of the left elephant tusk.
