Pair of Louis XVI convertible armchairs with medallion backs from the 18th century, gray-green lacquered. Their inset backrests receive armrests with cuffs resting on curved, fluted consoles. Their seats with molded crosspieces rest on four tapered fluted legs of which those of the front legs are roughened. Traditional trim redone and covered with a faux plain weave fabric in shades of plum, bordered with a double plum rope.Good condition, previously relacquered, previously caned.
