An important sculpture depicting the pilgrim Saint Roch, recognisable in his symbolic attributes. The posture is dynamically set in a celestial direction, where open gestures and weighting of the legs lead the figure to open up as emphasised by the cloak. Work datable to the 18th century, set on a wooden base in marbled lacquer with mecha highlights. Area between Lombardy and Emilia. Measure.37x31 h 95cm
