"Early Empire (parisian) Table Clock Depicting Henry IV ."
A gilded bronze clock depicting King Henry IV in parade dress, next to him a pillar containing the clock and where he rests his hat and Ivry's piano. On the front a historically themed bas-relief where Sully is kneeling before his king. The base rests on four feet, two on the front in the shape of winged lion paws. The dial is enamelled white in Roman numerals.
Materials: Mercury-gilt bronze, finely chased in detail. Datable to the first quarter of the 19th century.
