Drawing in pencil, Indian ink and watercolour.A well-preserved sheet, the scene probably refers to a historical-religious episode, in which several children rescued appear as protagonists. Stamps belonging to the J. Peoll and DallaBella collections are present on the back and front.
The attribution is based not only on the evident stylistic connotations but also on the concrete correspondences of format and technique of sheets present in some private collections and appearing on the Bolognese market in the second half of the 20th century.
