White porcelain Boule vase covered with a lid decorated with a Bull surmounted by a Dove symbolizing Strength, stability and Peace on the World (globe).
The work is composed of three parts, the square, gilded base slightly curved to accommodate the vase.
The Vase, in the shape of a perfect ball, is made of fine polished porcelain and glazed on the inside.
Its lid is finished with a gilded bull and dove, fixed on a pivoting axle.
Signed under the base "Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres" Year 2000.

Marina KARELLA was born in Greece in 1940. A sculptor, watercolorist, illustrator and set designer, she trained at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Athens and Paris. Married to Prince Michel of Greece, she settled in Paris with her family in 1972.
Numerous exhibitions in France, Greece and the United States.
Her work can be seen at the Musée Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Athens and the Museum of Fine Arts in Paris.
