"Louis XV Fireplace Trim"
Exceptional Rocaille style chiseled and gilded bronze fireplace surround consisting of a cartel clock in the center and two candelabras with five lights, on original gilded wood bases. Our very high quality trim is decorated with eagle's nests, scrolls and flowers for the candelabra and a couple of royal eagles, garlands of flowers, scrolls etc. for the clock. Dial with enamelled cartridges, movement signed Auguste Weygand Paris in working order. Very beautiful original gilding in several tones. All around 1860 in very good condition. Candelabra height 59 cm, with bases 65 cm.
