"Exceptional 18th Century Altar"
18th century altar. Carved, polychromed and gilded wood. Some parts redone: plinth base, the short sides and the thin upper border Receiving a marble (Modern) Dimensions: 90 x 203 x 44 cm Altar front in carved wood. The room has a rectangular structure whose upper part is hollowed out in such a way that it is delimited by curved lines which reinforce the volumetry of the room. From an aesthetic point of view, it presents a baroque rococo style. The sculpted and gilded elements are combined with a painting that simulates different types of marble speckled in blue and red.
