19th Century French Louis Philippe Commode In Bleached Burr Walnut The All In Good Condition

Louis Philippe French dresser. It dates from the middle of the 19th century. The wood is in bleached walnut bramble. This technique aims to lighten the furniture on the one hand and on the other hand it allows to bring out the magnificent grain of the flamed walnut. This dresser has a very beautiful natural color.
Walnut brambles are flamed because they have many aesthetic motifs. These drawings feature complex patterns with high contrast and tangled veins. Thus, the walnut bramble perfectly imitates a theater curtain.
