"Two Char-aina Armor Plates"
Two chaha-aina armor plates, India, probably Lahore, late 18th - early 19th century In steel with "koftgari" decoration inlaid with gold, slightly domed rectangular shape, the smallest with an indentation on one side, each with of its flowery attachments. The decoration concentrated on the perimeter decorated with a frieze of foliage garnished with rosettes and bifid palmettes, friezes of squares. 24.8 x 18.9 cm and 29.5 x 22.7 cm
