"Romantic Porcelain And Biscuit Clock"
A romantic finely decorated porcelain and biscuit clock; A marquise and a marquise surround the movement and apparently take water from a fountain. Their clothing is richly detailed. Decorated with ribbons and bows, painted and gilded, the base decorated with flowers rests on four gilded feet. The pendulum and strike movement is in perfect working order. The plate at the back has the hollow stamp: BROCOT Ainé (1817-1874 Tardy) As well as the stamp: “Silver Medal”.
