Beautiful and elegant vertical barometer-thermometer, in gilded lime wood dating from the second half of the 18th century, around 1780, Louis XVI period. The thermometer we are presenting is carved with a dove as well as a symmetrical laurel garland. The main part houses the atmospheric pressure barometer and a calibrated thermometer is located in the lower part. A pale green background completes the decor. Private collection. In good condition. Dimensions: h.96.5 cm x l.37.3 cm.
