"Popular Art Box"
We present this carved Folk Art box to hang vertically with a lid that lifts upwards and slides into a groove. The body itself is made from a single block of wood, except for the lid of course. This object is made of fruit wood and what gives it this reddish patina is that it has been stained with ox's blood. The sculptures are very well done and very complicated.
