"Immaculate Madonna School Of Jacopo Alessandro Calvi Oil Painting On Copper"
A luminous depiction of the figure of Mary in ascent supported and carried in glory by cupids between the passage of clouds leading to the Holy Spirit. The pyramid scheme re-proposes a recurring iconography stylistically ascribable to the Bolognese ambit close to the manner of Calvi. Datable to the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century.
Good state of preservation, measures approx. 26x37cm.
