"Butter Roller"
We present this sculpted butter roller. This is an object that was used to make drawings on lumps of butter. These scrolls were of course sculpted and made by hand. We find their use in the 19th century and also during the 20th century. A few rare ones were used in the 18th century. ours must date from the end of the 19th century. (E23) Ref. ..............56
