"Table - Inlaid Living Room Pedestal Table, Italy, 19th Century, Circa 1850"
The beautifully inlaid top of this low Italian pedestal table from the mid-19th century offers an anthology of wood species. Cherry, walnut, burr walnut, elm, oak, but also blackened pear, sycamore, mahogany, lemon, amaranth, rosewood... The lower part of the quadripod base seems to have been restored. The whole thing is stable, the foot is removable, a large wooden screw connects it to the top. Good general condition, traces of use consistent with age. Ideal height for a living room table or end of a sofa. Length = 90 cm, width = 59 cm, height = 63 cm
