The dial - partly white enameled - indicating the hours in Arabic numerals is signed "Lepaute à Paris". (Jean-Joseph Lepaute belongs to one of the most brilliant dynasties of Parisian watchmakers of the 18th century and the first decades of the following century).
The mechanism works but needs to be serviced (especially if the clock has to travel), ideally after a possible expedition. If the buyer wishes, I can nevertheless have it serviced (additional costs according to the watchmaker's invoice).
Sold with key and pendulum.
France around 1820.
