"Corsican Painting By Gérard Darot"
Gérard Darot (1935-2013), Master Impressionist from 1965 to 2002, then turned towards Cubism, Expressionism and the abstract. He wins numerous awards, notably in the south and is regularly exhibited in Parisian galleries. This work represents Erbalunga in Corsica. The ocher houses and the blue sky are typical of Mediterranean colors, the touch is precise, the scene is animated by fishermen around a boat. Nice frame.
