The company offered the finest silverware and exclusive jewelry. Almost instantly, the brand gained a solid reputation among the Parisian elite. In just three years, Risler & Carré established itself brilliantly on the luxury market and won a gold medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1900, and many more to come at the following universal exhibitions. One of the most memorable was the exclusive participation in the Universal Exhibition of Saint Louis in the USA in 1904. Only six French goldsmiths were honored to exhibit at that time. This brought Risler & Carré worldwide fame. The company made splendid objects not only in the Louis XVI style but also in the more modern Art Nouveau style. André Risler designed most of the pieces produced by Risler & Carré. For his merits, he was named Knight of the Legion of Honor by the French government in 1906 at the age of 43. But unfortunately, the unexpected death of the master led to the closure of the “Maison Risler et Carré” in 1912.
