Pair of salt shakers covered in silver, the interiors in cut white crystal, Paris 1776-1777. They rest on three console-shaped fluted feet, linked together by garlands, the lids are hinged, the grips in the shape of a pine cone. The lids are stamped with the mark of the master goldsmith CDG (not referenced in Nocq's work) with the charge, the letter date and discharge, the bodies are stamped with the discharge. The glasses are in perfect condition. Net weight 211g, they are in chiseled cast silver and not stamped. Condition, very good, salt shakers of a rare model and of good quality.
