"Art Nouveau Earthenware Planter By Emile Gallé 1846-1904"
Fine earthenware planter with polychrome decoration of small fire. Rocaille-shaped model created around 1880. The edges are rubbed with gold. This garnished basket-shaped planter served as a table centerpiece. The decor is different on each side. The artist's signature is located under the planter. The signature is inlaid in the design of the said planter. Emile Gallé 1846-1904.
