Constant Roux (1865-1942) began and brilliantly concluded his career with a single work: The Wrath of Achilles. Indeed, she opened the doors of the Villa Medici to him at the end of the competition for the Grand Prix de Rome in 1894 and awarded him a medal of honor at the Salon of the Society of French Artists in 1930
