Large Louis XVI style bed with projections. Burl veneer and mahogany wire, tulipwood and rosewood fillets. The pediment of the head with an inverted cavetto. The fluted foot and inlaid medallion: bouquet of flowers with a tied ribbon. Ornamentation of gilded bronze: foliage, vine branches, mask, laurel wreath, tied ribbon and scraps. Greek brass frames. Top legs with lanceolate leaves, crosspieces with laurel scraps. Good quality, Faubourg Saint-Antoine, circa 1900. Waxed varnish. Head: height 162 cm, width 185 cm. Foot: height 93 cm, width 183 cm.
