Leleux Armand Hubert Simon (1818-1895), was born in Paris and was a pupil of Ingres with whom he makes a trip to Rome.
He exhibited at the "Salon De Paris" where he received many medals in 1844, 1847, 1848 and in 1859.

He stays in Germany and Switzerland where he participates in all the exhibitions of these countries.
Its interiors are highly regarded. Today, many works by this artist are kept in many museums in France.

The antique painting and the gilded frame have been professionally restored.
The oil on canvas painting dates back to the nineteenth Century and it is an artwork of
