Silver Photo Holder Medallion, Art & Craft, Cornelius Sanders & Franck Shepherd, Late 19th Century

Very pretty oval medallion, pendant, hinged opening. It is decorated with an Art & Craft pattern, stylized foliage, separated by striped railings. The rim is decorated with high relief beads, and has a notch for easy opening. The interior is made up of two receptacles, one of which is equipped with a removable strap. Clearly visible hallmarks inside, as on the back, silver bail to attach to a chain.
Excellent condition, no break or flaw note engravings at the tip inside, clearly visible in my detailed photos.
English working, London or Birmingham, dating from the Art Nouveau period, Circa 1890-1910.
Dimensions: 5cm (with bail) x 3.5cm x 0.8cm. Weight approximately 31g. ​​​​​
