"Pipe-tomahawk Or Tomahawk Calumet – Usa"
Beautiful calumet tomahawk (“pipe-tomahawk”) with a handle pierced with a series of three large copper nails on each side. The wooden handle is hollow and constitutes the stem of this ceremonial pipe. Rare bronze blade. The handle, previously damaged, bears the trace of a skillful old wooden restoration, consolidated by a small copper plate inlaid in the wood, a sign of attachment to the object.
