Frame : 71,5 X 103,8 cm

Isaac’s father was a famous marine painter, Adam Willaerts, who trained two of his sons, our Isaac and his elder brother Cornelis, as painters.
Two of Adam’s daughters married fish still painters, with Willem Ormea and Jacob Gillig. Finally a niece of Adam married the famous still life painter Abraham Mignon.
