Beautiful box in ivory, ebony and rosewood marquetry representing scrolls of flowers ending in chimera heads. Finely crafted box on all sides and inside with rosewood marquetry and ivory fillets. Interior with its colored mother-of-pearl tokens (yellow, blue, pink, red, white), some of which are finely engraved. In a perfect state. Signature on the lock "Veuve Paul Sormani & Fils, 10 rue Charlot, in Paris". Late 19th century.
