Superb bronze after the Crouching Venus by Antoine Coysevox (1640-1720) whose original marble model was inspired by ancient art and finished by the artist in 1686. Our bronze has a very pretty bronze patina giving a lot of contrasts to the shapes of the subject. This statue is in very good condition, only some patina wear should be noted on its base (visible in photos). height: 41cm base: 24 cm x 14.5cm
