Elegant Corolle Spittoon Bell Brass, China, 18th Century

Beautiful bronze (bell) spittoon cast in two parts: border with contours and festoons forming an 8-sided corolla, and bulbous body with octagonal steps.
Beautiful object which had its use for betel quids.
The shape is reminiscent of the candlesticks and utensils with contours and sides of our Grench Regence era.
We find few models of this type from bronze in documentations, they are rather porcelain or silver, for export . (see last photos)
China, 18 or 19th century. Dimensions: diameter: 13cm, height 10cm. Gross weight: 350gr.
Condition: good, wear or friction, cup sounds: no cracks.
