"Antique Umbrella, Silk And Lace, Bone Handle, Circa 1860"
Antique umbrella. The lower part of the handle is carved bone, the upper part in wood. The canvas is made of silk covered with Chantilly lace. The silk has been changed, the lace is original. This superb parasol is therefore in very good condition and can be used. Its metal ring allows it to be folded in two, which at the time allowed you to get into a carriage without being hampered by the length of the parasol. It measures 22,83 inches long and the canvas approximately 20,07 inches in diameter when opened. France, circa 1860
