Exceptional Art Deco Bedroom Furniture made from macassar ebony veneer decorated with friezes and pewter marquetry fillets representing stylized plant motifs.
This set includes:

A three-door dressing cabinet including the central door with a beveled oval mirror. Featuring a very beautiful interior with numerous drawers, shelves, retractable shelf and vanity mirrors.

A large “Queensize” 150 bed with half-moon-shaped bedside tables

Two asymmetrical bedside tables, one rectangular in shape with a drawer, a central module for storing books or magazines and a door in the lower part revealing a coated interior white marble. The other, half-moon shaped, has a drawer on the front and a spacer shelf. Both are topped with a Portor marble top.

Exceptional work stamped by the MERCIER house in Paris, circa 1930.
Very good condition, beautiful recent varnish, note a crosspiece of the bed formerly re-veneered at the level of the marquetry frieze (not noticeable at all once the bed is assembled ).
