"Kyodai 鏡台 - Period Meiji"
Kyodai: box with two drawers and their respective metal handles, used as a support for a mirror.It is an important piece of furniture in the Japanese bride's trousseau.
Lacquered and gilded wood. Part of the base has lacquered wood and a crack, see attached photograph.
Period Meiji(1868-1912).
Dimensions: 66 high x 27 wide x 26.5 deep.
