"The Little Hussar."
portrait of a child disguised as a soldier, with a remarkably faithful costume, made in pastel at the beginning of the 20th century. Indeed, he wears madder red pants, the dark jacket with midshipman's strings, and the saber at his belt, and poses seriously with his arms crossed. Next to him sits his hussar helmet. The pastel bears a trace of signature, erased by time, even if it has been fixed. The frame is original in average condition. the whole thing has a lot of charm and recalls, with a little nostalgia, France before the Great War.
