Farm wagon element in plated and graved brass which was used to tighten the load with a rope. Normally this element (saltarello in Italian) represents a single animal, usually a dragon or a serpent. In this case the magnificent dragon is topped by a peacock. Emilia Romagna second half of the 18th century
