Relief decoration of two eagles, scrolls and vine branches on the collar, pedestal mounted in bronze. In the Neo-Renaissance style, second half of the 19th century. Dimensions: H.32 cm x L. 35 cm According to research this piece was probably unique, Simon Peter Gerz particularly produced pitchers and beer mugs which are sought-after collector's items. German stoneware factory founded by Simon Peter Gerz in 1857. Gerz was born on September 13, 1830 and died on September 12, 1893. His son-in-law Alphons Wilhelm Lötschert (born April 17, 1863 - died November 24, 1945) succeeded him.
