Splendid micro mosaic representing a panoramic view of the basilica and Saint Peter's Square in Rome, 19th Century. It is mounted on a black opaline surround surrounded by copper. Extreme fineness of the mosaic; very small chips and scratches on the opaline. Total diameter: approximately 6.2 cm Diameter of the micro mosaic: approximately 4.5 cm
