Important Wall Console In Upholstered Wood And Bronze, Return From Egypt Style – Mid-19th Century

Important and exceptional wall console, dating from the mid-19th century, entirely upholstered in pine green velvet. The tray is bordered by a large chiseled and beaded bronze rod highlighted with a central motif of laurel branches. This tray is supported by two gilded bronze caryatids connected by a finely crafted drape. The butterfly wing structure is decorated with rosettes of different sizes and a twisted wand in the center. Each angle ends at the bottom with a small pine cone. This console will bring character, through its contrast and its manufacturing quality, to a chic and refined interior.
