Tibet, first third of the 20th century, interesting bronze group depicting Yama, a terrible bull-headed divinity with shaggy hair and a crown of skulls embracing his consort while trampling with his feet a reclining character and animal, symbol of crushing forces of evil. Yama, judge of souls, is the god of death and lord of the underworld in Buddhism. Height 26.5 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone. Good condition. Presence of a slight greenish oxidation without impact on aesthetics.
