Important and very fine Tabriz rug circa 1960, made of wool and velvet silk of high quality silky lamb's wool, signed workshop of master Vallaii Characterized by flowers surrounded by silk on silk foundations, from an ivory field to branches of scrolls of garlands and sprays of stylized polychrome flowers and foliage framing a central oval medallion in the shape of a stylized diamond pendant inlaid with a multicolored floral crown Four old salmon pink spandrels with egg-shaped reserves inlaid with vases with floral bouquets in polychrome. Triple borders including the main old rose with cartridges of multicolored stylized foliage and flowers Note the original ending with small cartridges with signatures including that of the artist: Mtre Valaii Density: Approximately 10/11000 knots per dm2 Dimensions: Length: 349 cm Width: 251 cm
