Biography: Lucette Belleni, self-taught like all so-called "naive" painters, began painting regularly from 1978 alongside her father, Emmanuel Bellini, himself a renowned painter. It reveals a very personal “Belle époque” style and it deals with everyday life. The family is always present, at the country house, at the wedding, at the party or at the market. She draws her ideas from her childhood memories or from those of her parents and grandparents with whom she lived and who told her about life at the time. Lucette Belleni says that this past, present in her work, balances her and allows her to better experience the current era. In 1978, she exhibited for the first time in Cannes, her hometown, and since then she has continued to hang her paintings on the walls of numerous galleries: Honfleur, Dijon, Versailles, Angoulème, Vichy, Nice, Monaco, Homécourt , Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux etc. everywhere in France but also abroad: Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Switzerland. She participates in numerous group fairs each year, and has Naive Art meetings in particular. Member of Independent Artists and French Artists, she has also exhibited in Paris, at the Salon d'Automne and at the Biennale of Fine Arts.
