Sculptor, painter and engraver, Alexandre Kéléty, of Hungarian origin, worked at Society of French Artists in Paris during interwar period. From 1927, he presented works in various materials he liked: bronze, ivory, terracotta... Some published by Arthur Goldscheider, others by the Edmond Etling foundries and Nephews of Jules Lehmann. These dancers, figurines, animals and chryselephantine subjects earned him fame and recognition from his peers, notably at International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in 1925 and in 1937 at Paris Universal Exhibition.
