Russian housewife with 24 dessert place settings, 12 forks and 12 knives, goldsmith G. Rudke. Model in silver and vermeil with ArtNouveau decoration. The irregularly shaped silver handles simulate a branch: meticulous grooved work on which foliage and pear are sculpted in vermeil. The sleeves are in vermeil. Each piece is hallmarked, title and goldsmith's mark. The set is in its 2-tier burgundy leather box. The lid is decorated in its center with the SJ monogram; it is surrounded by gold-stamped friezes as is the lower part of the box. Preserves a gilded brass closing system, a missing tab.
