"Roman Bronze Mirror"
Bronze mirror from the Roman period. Etruscan tradition mirror decorated with concentric circles on the front and smooth on the reverse. Traces of corrosion and weakness near the junction between the rod and the bronze circle. Old restorations. Roman period Augustan period. 22cm long 13.5cm in diameter Former private collection in Val d'Oise, acquired at public auction.
