Beautiful work by the Avignon painter Victor Crumière which represents a view of the old mill in the pine forest at Carry le Rouet.
Victor Crumière took classes with Charles Vionnet and Jules Flour at the Avignon School of Fine Arts at a very young age. He painted his Provence with passion, landscapes and still lifes full of light, with clean colors and simplified lines.
He exhibited from 1920 to 1950 in Avignon, in Paris from 1927 to 1931 at the Salon des Artistes Français and in Nîmes from 1928 to 1948.
NB: Old small repaints, without impact, are to be noted in the sky.
Dimensions: 38 x 55 cm without frame and 49 x 65 cm with its gilded wooden frame.
