DAUM Nancy The jay and the rat, and the earthen pot against the iron pot. 2 miniature covered glass tureens with two hot-joined side handles. Engraved and painted grisaille decoration of a scene taken from the fable of Jean de la Fontaine Decorated with polychrome enameled flowers, on an acid-frosted background. Handles, rim of the lid, lips and grip of the lid rubbed with gold. Signed "Daum Nancy" with the Lorraine cross in gold, under the base. Height: 3.5 cm - Width: 5.5 cm DV
