Louis XVI Carved Golden Wood Column
Refined large late 19th century column with neoclassical Louis XVI style decoration in lacquered and gilded carved wood. The barrel is carved in a round section with a fluted pattern enriched with golden roughening, the upper part is decorated with a delicate laurel garland in finely carved and gilded high relief. The whole resting on a gorget base decorated with a large crown of laurel leaves ending in a molded octagonal counter base. Good condition and stable. Dimensions: 1 m 18 high x 38 cm wide / top 21 cm in diameter.
