Paperolles Reliquary With 8 Relics - 19th Century

Reliquary with golden foils, on a white background and its gilded wooden frame also. In the central medallion is an engraving of the Virgin and Child, radiant, surrounded by small pearls and a series of foils.
Our medallion is surrounded by the relics of Saint Mary Magdalene, Saint Lucy, Saint Vincent, Saint Louis, Saint Pius, Saint Victor and Saint Honored

Dimensions with frame of 22 cm by 18.
Note, on one of the corners of the window are affixed a red wax seal as well as a label indicating the provenance of this piece. This is the Hopilliart house, founded in 1781 which continued its activity in the 19th century at 12 rue des Saints-Pères, in Paris. Marcel Proust will be one of the most famous clients. In 1931, it took the name of Hopilliart and Leroux.
